Chip grew up in the Midwest, studied Organizational Leadership at Bethel University, and is currently taking classes towards a Master of Divinity degree. He is an avid sports fan, and pulls for the Duke Blue Devils, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Florida Gators. Chip is also a raving-fan of his wife, Krista, whom he met at summer camp. They have been married since 2000 and are in the process of becoming foster care parents.
