Tempa Cabrera

Assimilation Coordinator

Tempa Cabrera helps people at River Oaks stay connected through small groups and Sunday morning ministry teams. She is also responsible for organizing special events at the church, which is undoubtedly her forte.

She is a resourceful planner and a gifted hostess. Tempa grew up in the Winston-Salem area and attended Forsyth Technical Community College. In 2001, she married her husband, José, and together they have a daughter.

When not at River Oaks, Tempa spends much of her time as a grade parent volunteer at her daughter’s school.
