One of the first things we observe in Scripture is that God is a creator. After God created the heavens and the earth, the Bible records that God created mankind in His image. The Bible then reveals that mankind is created for the purpose of being image-bearers. Because we are created to represent God’s nature, we are also given the capacity to create… to be artistic.

It is unfortunate that many people have exploited this capacity and used their creative giftings to make images, movies, and stories that run contrary to the wishes and ways of God. At River Oaks we have decided to redeem our capacity by using our God-given talents and artistic passions to produce works that point people to the Master Artist, the Great Creator, the One and Only Eternal God.
